Uniform Civil Code :- A need for the country India is a country having religious diversity mainly with Hindus, Muslims, Christians and Parsis. The people in India have pride and respect about their religion. These religions have their separate personal laws regarding marriage, divorce, inheritance, adoption, and succession. The people belonging to above four religions are bound to follow their personal law due to their faith in it. The procedures of these personal laws have vast distinctions with each other. This ultimately creates inequalities among the citizens based on the marriage, divorce, inheritance, adoption, and succession. To deal with this issue, the Constituent Assembly included the provision of Uniform Civil Code in the Constitution of India.
